Lockwood’s history

Lockwood sits on Highway 20, about 15 kilometres north of the town of Nokomis. For years it was an incorporated village, but that status ended on January 1, 2002, when it was restructured as a hamlet under the Rural Municipality of Usborne No. 310.

Today Lockwood is a small hamlet, and its residents are counted as part of the rural municipality.
